Myst of Guatemala

Well...the game needs a lot of work. So far its a mix of all horror games together. 

This was amazing, it's like going to a haunted house. 

An actual honest review: It ain't great, there are a lot of problems but those problems do make for a great video:

Im entirely unsure what the other comments are talking about but do not let this game's itchio page fool you. Going into the game you're met immediately with a quick paced intro with text-to-speech voice acting. After the intro you're thrown into the game where you meet bad jumpscare after bad jumpscare. The premise of this game seems really interesting but it was developed so lazily that it isn't even enjoyable to play through.

The way all the sounds and visuals came together was quite an experience... I didn't jump (100 times)...

I came, I saw, I CONQUERED...and it was both hilarious and fun lol can't wait for more

A fun, well made short horror game, theres great potential for a longer fleshed out version where the story can be expanded upon, but either way it's amazing!!

The graphics are awesome.I was genuinely horrified of the creatures.The end was a bit unexpected.

The Jumpscares were less but were scary. The graphics felt unreal even though I didn't have any beefy GPU. The Music was damn GOOD.

This game had me sweating, not sure what to expect. The final part made me want to hide. I wish there was a bit more to it, but I really enjoyed the game! Thank you for making it!

This was honestly one of my Favorite indie games in a while!! Just wanted more.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing this. You can still feel lost even going around several times. The time runs out a lot quicker than you want and you being to panic, which adds a lot to this game. Great job!

Very cool creapypasta game! I haven't heard of Laughing Jack but this is one of the most interesting and scary games of him.

I really enjoyed the scary experience at night while playing video games. The jumpscare at the end was incredibly scary! I would rate it 10/10.

Good stuff, love the puzzles, don't have to bend my mind to proceed further into the game! 10/10

Amazing CG from the beginning, good gameplay, fun jumpscares. It's a demo so I don't have high expectation. And it is indeed a good game

with the beginning part I thought this is an vision novel or something but the story part is missing. Wish to know more of the Guatemala story.

bro this scared the xxxx out of me! The jumpscares. You know they will be there but still scary and eerie. When will there be updates?

Got stucked here for a while since I couldn't realize that I need to have the key on my hand to unlock the door. Maybe add a guide or something at the beginning would be better? Any way good work!
